Born and raised in the country of Togo, Adidjatou is a hard-working, self-employed wife and mother. Her four children are all adults, but as a family they still rely on one another to provide for their living needs.

To supply her family with income, Adidjatou buys and sells potash in her local community and also sells her product at a market in the city of Lome.

Adidjatou has been very good at repaying loans, and she is currently on her 4th loan. She is hoping to be able to grow her business to a point where it will be able to sustain itself. With the added income she also hopes to provide her family with basic living needs.

Through her hard work and determination, Adidjatou has already repaid over half of her loan. The Mission Belt Co has been very proud of the effort she puts into striving to provide for herself and her family.

Through the help of our customers we have been able to provide loans to people worldwide who are looking for a little help in the efforts to better their quality of living. Every time we sell any of our leather Mission Belts, we donate 1$ to making micro-loans through Kiva.

If you'd like to join our mission to end poverty and world hunger, we have lots of great belts and we are confident that you'll love wearing one!

The Battleship Mission Belt. Personal favorite of co-founder Nate Holzapfel.
